Each person reading this has been justice-impacted by the registry. Either directly or as a caring and supportive family member or friend.
Missouri Alliance for Family Restoration became a 501c3 on October 6, 2023. We have a website and 800 number for receiving support calls as well as Missourians just learning of our organization thanks to an amazing team of snail mailers who are participating in this outreach initiative at their own expense. We have a conference call line and hope to soon to have a ‘Zoom Room’ with a variety of guests to provide empirical data information and teach advocacy.
We have a major hurdle in 2024 due to the Missouri Supreme Court Ruling in February which if legislated by the Senate and House and signed into law by the governor will take our state back to everyone being required to register for life. We can’t allow that to happen. How can we push back?
It is our hope to hire a lobbyist to instruct us as to what we should do and not do during the legislative session. How can you help? We are working with Attorney Matt Fry in hopes of raising $25,000 to make that happen. A good lobbyist is $4,000 a month.
