The Time Is Now, We Need Your Help

In order to drive change, we MUST increase our actionable efforts within the organization.  This is a difficult task for many organizations. Unfortunately, a failure of such efforts has often been our downfall. When our response is timid and our turn-out low, we are sending a strong message; but it is the wrong message.

Welcome to “Missouri Alliance for Family Restoration“ also known as “MOAFR”

Our 2025 goals are to lobby the legislators in Jefferson City to help them see that continuously adding more laws will never increase safety.  Moreover, pure recidivism rates are in the single digits as demonstrated in numerous peer-reviewed studies which must be acknowledged by legislators and public.

WE HAVE A PLAN

We are presently beginning talks with a widely acknowledged and successful lobbyist who spends an incredible number of hours with legislators and their staffs. The lobbyist will begin to working the process in October looking at possible legislators and leaders going into the election in November. Also, legislators can begin prefiling their bills on December 2nd. The legislators convene January 8th 2025 and session ends May30th.  There are lots of moving parts.

As you may know or not know, hiring a lobbyist comes with a cost.  Here is where our Persons Forced to Register (PFR) and impacted wives, mothers, fathers and extended family come in.  Please contribute!

Please click “about us” to find out more about who we are, and how we came together.

Please click on “how you can help”. This page will give you a better understanding of how you can help us and this lobbying effort which will eventually help you and your family.

During Louisiana’s recent gubernatorial election, voters repeatedly ranked crime as their number-one concern in polls, and the top candidates responded accordingly with tough on crime rhetoric.

But crime wasn’t out of control – at least not according to the available data.

The Auditor’s Critique of Missouri’s SORN

The Missouri State Highway Patrol maintains the statewide database, including timely updates to the data. The Patrol is also responsible for public dissemination of the information. Missouri’s Patrol provides the registry to the public on its website where it may be accessed in order to make informed decisions about a potential victim’s exposure to sexual predators. The Patrol’s statuary mandate also requires that it interact with other governmental agencies ensuring the statutory mandates are met legally and efficiently.
